Conscious Dance is a sober, welcoming space to move, feel, and connect. No choreography, no performance - just you, your body, and the music. We gather and let movement guide us, to shake off expectations, and to connect in community.
No prior experience is needed. Every body, every mood, and every way of moving is welcome. Whether you want to stretch quietly, dance wildly, or simply sway, you belong here.
As we dance, emotions often rise to the surface. This is part of the medicine of conscious dance: giving the body a safe place to move through what the heart carries.
What to expect:
• We begin with an opening circle for grounding.
• A curated playlist carries us into freeform dance.
• We close together in a circle, sharing optional, to integrate the experience.
A few things to know before you arrive:
• Bring only your body and a water bottle.
• No talking on the dance floor.
• Respect each other’s space.
• Barefoot or indoor shoes only.
• No phones on the dance floor.
• Come as you are—there’s no right or wrong way to move.
